What is Cyber Essentials Plus?

As part of its drive to get the UK protected from cyber threats, the Government, along with the IT industry has developed the Cyber Essentials scheme which helps organisations protect themselves from the most common internet security threats.

The Cyber Essentials scheme is a key deliverable of the UK’s National Cyber Security Programme.

Why do you need Cyber Essentials Plus?

With Cyber Essentials, you can prevent around 80% of cyber-attacks.

The scheme provides a mechanism for you to demonstrate to customers, investors, insurers and others that you have taken essential precautions to secure your organisation against cyber risks.

The scheme will also increase your opportunities within the private sector as it is required for UK Government contracts that involve the handling of personal and sensitive information.
